- こうごいし【神籠石】〔もと福岡県久留米市高良(コウラ)山の列石の称。 高良神社の神域を示すものと考えられたのでこの名がある〕西日本に分布する古代の山城の遺跡。 小高い山の八合目付近を切り石の列石で囲み， その上に土塁を築いたもの。
